Bible Search helps you find scripture by reference, exact words, or meaning.

Search modes

  • Type a reference, such as John 3:16 or Romans 8:28.
  • Type a phrase from the verse.
  • Type an idea, such as armour of God or faith without works.

Working with results

  1. Review the reference, score, and preview text.
  2. Open the passage if you need more context.
  3. Add the verse to the staged queue if it will be used soon.
  4. Present immediately only when you are confident it is the correct passage.
